I have to admit, I was always that skinny kid, growing up. In high school I was 6'1'' and only weighed about 155 pounds. Which's fairly slim you could say without using weight training gloves. It's not that I didn't eat. I ate anything and everything I could get my greedy little hands on. I loved food just as much as the next guy. Then again, when you have a fast metabolism, you are simply going to burn it all off with home weight training. It was time to make a change. Therefore, my senior year in high school from home weight training I took a shot at a weight training program. I didn't worry about developing a great routine via a knowledgeable trainer. My older brother was already a weight-lifting nut, and he got me started with a good regime. In no time I had acquired a decent weight training program that was perfect for me. In addition, I resorted to the local GNC store for a few protein supplements and likewise home weight training. I needed that extra shot of protein and carbs if I really wanted to pack on some mass. Fortunately the weight training program worked and I was able to reach 170 pounds. It may not be extremely big, but it's 15 pounds of additional muscle.
